To enable this, we have launchedAxial—a once-in-a-generation transformation centred on deploying SAP S/4HANA. Axial will standardise processes, strengthen financial management, and elevate data and reporting across the entire value chain, from research to patient care.

We are now looking for anEnterprise Process Expert, SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)to join the Axial team and help us deliver world-class change for the benefit of employees, customers, and patients alike.

What you will do

As the Enterprise Process Expert (EPE) forSAP GTS, you will:

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for:
    – Customs Management (exports & imports)
    – Special Customs Procedures
    – Preference Management
    – Product Classification
  • Support the delivery of theAxial Global Templatefor trade, customs, and compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance to Enterprise Process Leads (EPLs) in designing and delivering future-ready business processes set by the Enterprise Process Owner (EPO).
  • Collaborate with EPOs/EPLs to drive globally standardised processes in SAP, minimising local customisations.
  • Lead end-to-end process analysis, design, optimisation, and documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into effective SAP GTS solutions, working closely with business leaders, end users, and technical teams.
  • Partner with IT, Master Data, and Analytics teams to align technology, data, and reporting with business needs.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and capability building across the programme.
  • Manage deployment and change-management activities.
  • Find opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure business continuity.
  • Incorporate non-SAP system requirements into overarching process and data designs.
  • Build strong, influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Essential requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience withSAP Global Trade Services (GTS).
  • Significant expertise in distribution, trade, and customs-management processes.
  • Superb communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Capacity to see the “big picture” while drilling into detail within your area of expertise.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage diverse teams, cultures, and competing interests.
  • Talent for bridging business needs and technical solutions.
